The Detroit Alliance provides programs for elementary to high school students. This event helps DPSL high school students find colleges to obtain scholarships and funding. Our event is scheduled to take place December 6th at Mumford High School in Detroit from 9am to 3pm. This event is designed for senior high school athletes aspiring to earn a degree and participate in athletics at the collegiate level. The event will increase an athlete’s exposure to colleges and valuate athletes academically, socially and athletically to enable scholarship offers right there on the spot. We will employ sports- specific performance enhancement techniques to educate athletes and parents. The college coach/student exchange event provides very valuable information on the recruiting process, college time management, NCAA rules, and new eligibility requirements. This event will be taught by well qualified motivational speakers, life coaches, teachers and administrative personnel. They will be available to answer any and all questions at this time.
